![]() This is especially true for classic team members like Tali, Wrex, and Kaiden. There are many more faces that Mass Effect fans would meet with open arms should they encounter them. These are just a few of the characters BioWare could pick to make a comeback. Perhaps more than any other character, Legion would be an effective tool to explore the after effects of the original trilogy's final conflict, which hinged on the relationship between synthetic and organic life. Assuming that Mass Effect 3 ended with either the Control or Synthesize options, it would be incredibly interesting to see Legion and other Geth learn to find a place in the galaxy after years of war against their Quarian creators. As a sapient AI lifeform, whether or not Legion even survived the last game is still a mystery. Joker isn't the only character whose story would be dramatically influenced by Mass Effect 3's ending, however. Whether or not Shepard chose the Destroy, Synthesize, or Control options at the end of the game would influence Joker's character any number of ways, as his love interest either survives, dies, or becomes partially organic. By the end of ME3, Joker had built up a questionable romantic relationship with the Normandy's resident AI, EDI. This is especially true after the ending of Mass Effect 3. Depending on which ME3 ending is canon, Joker's character could go a lot of different directions. Fans would be delighted to see this rascal return for another entry into the series. As the Normandy's pilot, Joker had plenty of screen time and character development of his own, and his witty, rambunctious personality injected a fair amount of levity into the game's story. Joker is the exception to the rule, however. When the player can choose to have certain characters by their side at pretty much any point in the game, they are bound to make the deepest impression. ![]() Most of Mass Effect's memorable characters have the benefit of being team members.
